 In response to racist remarks on social media, Grimes—real name Claire Boucher—defended the Indian community. 

"Suddenly creating anti-Indian energy out of nowhere is embarrassing y'all," she wrote on X (previously Twitter). They made it apparent that they intended to do this as well.
