Me Too Committe in Telugu film industry

After multiple incidents in the #MeToo movement were reported in Bollywood, media world and general entertainment world, Telugu film industry has now decided to form an internal body to safeguard women in the industry. We were the first to tell you that many actresses, filmmakers, producers and many women working in various crafts of Telugu film industry, on Sunday, gathered in Hyderabad to address the issues pertaining to sexual misconduct in the industry. And according to our sources, top actress Samantha Akkineni is heading the movement to form an internal committee which is being called as Voice of Women. Like the Malayalam film industry has Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), Tollywood will soon have VoW which will compromise filmmakers and personalities from the film industry like Nandini Reddy, Amala Akkineni, Samantha Akkineni and Jhansi among many others who will form the core panel of the committee.
