APPSC Group 1, 2 Revised Syllabus Released, Check Prelims, Mains Syllabus Here NEW DELHI:  Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released the revised syllabus for the Group 1  and  Group 2  services general recruitment process. The APPSC Group 1 and Group 2 syllabus details are available on the official website of the Commission. The syllabus can be accessed from the official website, psc.ap.gov.in. The APPSC syllabus for both Group 1 and Group 2 prelims mains have been provided on separate links on the website. APPSC had earlier released the draft syllabus for Group-I Services (Preliminary and Mains) which was recommended by the Experts Committee on July 20, 2018.  The APPSC Group 1 draft syllabus was also hosted in the Commission's Website www.psc.ap.gov.in. HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court has recently directed TS' Commissioner of  Panchayat Raj and Rural Development  not to announce the results of Junior Panchayat Secretary posts till October 30. In response to a petition filed by  Telangana  Grama Panchayat Employees' Union seeking regularisation of the members of the union as panchayat secretaries as per the AP Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service Rules, 2010,  Justice Naveen Rao  passed this interim order. During the trial, the petitioner's counsel told the court that there would be adverse impact on the service conditions of the employees if the Junior Panchayat Secretary posts are filled up.

Sanjeev Pargal JAMMU, Oct 19: The Central Government has announced an annual grant of Rs 775 crore directly to 4490 Panchayats and Rs 525 crore to 79 Urban Local Bodies in Jammu and Kashmir with effect from their formal constitution, which is expected by December to facilitate strengthening of the Local Bodies and developmental works by them. “The grants will flow every year now till the elected Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies were in place and will be at the sole discretion of the civic bodies, which will identify and execute the developmental works on their own without any interference by the State Government excepting some supervisory powers enshrined under the official rules,” official sources told the Excelsior. The annual grant, according to sources, could be further increased after review of expenditure at the end of every financial year.
